How long does an EV charger install take?Each installation is different but roughly 2-3 hours for standard installation (No additional works required and within 5 meters of supply)

Do different EV's require different chargers?There are two standard connectors which different models of EV use (Type 1 and Type 2), the market is moving to using Type 2 as standard but charge points are available in either and there are also Type 1 to Type 2 adaptor cables.

How much is an EV Charge point?Price can vary due to many factors. For example, your choice of charger, distance from fuse board/ metre cabinet etc. Standard installation roughly around €1250-€1305. A government-funded support scheme to assist homeowners to install an electric vehicle charge point on their property. The scheme provides a grant up to the value of €300 towards the purchase and installation of a home charger unit.
