Recent Installations 

  • How long does an EV charger install take?
    Each installation is different but roughly 2-3 hours for standard installation (No additional works required and within 5 meters of supply)
  • Do different EV's require different chargers?
    There are two standard connectors which different models of EV use (Type 1 and Type 2), the market is moving to using Type 2 as standard but charge points are available in either and there are also Type 1 to Type 2 adaptor cables.
  • How much is an EV Charge point?
    Price can vary due to many factors. For example, your choice of charger, distance from fuse board/ metre cabinet etc. Standard installation roughly around €1250-€1305. However, there is a €600 SEAI grant available. Get in touch today to get help applying for your grant.
  • Are there grants available?
    There is a €600 SEAI grant available towards your home charger. Get in touch today if you would like help applying for this grant.
  • Can I buy a charger right now? When will it be installed?
    Yes! We typically install within a week of booking in with us.
  • How long will it take to get my €600 grant return?
    This typically takes 4-6 weeks. Any longer than this and you should contact SEAI

Electric Vehicle Home Charger Grant

Claim up to €300 towards the purchase and installation of an electric vehicle home charger unit.


A government-funded support scheme to assist homeowners to install an electric vehicle charge point on their property. The scheme provides a grant up to the value of €300 towards the purchase and installation of a home charger unit. The applicant must be the owner of an eligible new or second-hand electric vehicle (EV)
